The project involves the construction of 1.5km of a 1500mm diameter concrete flood alleviation culvert in the Castlefield Manor housing estate.
Key Elements
- Diversions to existing services and utilities to allow installation of new pipeline
- Installation of 1500mm diameter concrete pipes and 2400mm diameter manholes at depths up to 5.5m
- Design and implementation of pedestrian and traffic management to maintain access for residents
- 5,000m2 of road pavement reinstatement
- Installation of 1,300m of new concrete kerb
- Footpath and cycle track reinstatement
