Development of a new business park adjacent to the Greenogue Industrial Park in Rathcoole. Works included site clearance, earthworks, full construction of all internal roadways and the provision of new services.
Key Elements
- Works included the design and construction of all access roads including the front entrance roundabout which was constructed on the existing regional road linking the N7 with Newcastle
- Site clearance of the full 55 acre site, including demolition works
- Construction works including extensive earthworks, full pavement construction, drainage, kerbing, footpaths and all ancillary works associated with these activities
- Provision of new foul sewers, watermains and surface water sewers to accommodate the business park
- Installation of extensive ducting to accommodate new ESB and communication connections, as well as the construction of an ESB substation
- Installation of public lighting and CCTV network which linked to the security monitoring premises on site
- Construction of extensive boundary treatments to individual sites including brick and stone masonry walls and palisade fencing
- Construction of water feature and business park signage at the entrance to the estate
